Maximilian Böger (MSc.) grew up in Varel, Germany and practised competitive sports. As a trained ski instructor with a Tyrolean licence, he moved to Austria. He studied international business administration at the University of Vienna. During his studies he successfully founded the startup updoon. As a co-founder of Airspott he experienced a 'fuck-up story'. He currently is Co-Founder of the Ecosystem Living Lab and Ph.D. candidate at the Institute of Technology Management at the University of St. Gallen, specialized in innovation management, business model innovation and ecosystems. In these areas, he works actively with global leading companies. Furthermore, he is an advisory board member of Moonshot Pirates and a member of the academic jury of the St. Gallen Symposium. His passion is to develop management frameworks, strategies and drive innovation beyond company boundaries.
In his workshops and keynotes, he impressively teaches how ambition and exponential growth can achieve goals that were previously considered unattainable. With his unusual methods, storytelling, knowledge of the latest innovation trends, entrpreneurship and a very authentic mixture of depth and humour coupled with a pinch of self-irony Maximilian puts managers and employees from all industries on innovation course.
